Weddings, Parties & Special Events Whatever the occasion, a dance lesson or a dance show can provide your guests with a great time and get a party going.

Corporate Events Best Salsa's expert dance tuition offers the opportunity for your company's staff to mix socially encouraging harmony whilst improving their health, coordination & social skills.
Why Dance? Any type of dancing is great fun and is a brilliant social asset and can give you access to a whole new range of friends. Dancing regularly reduces stress, helps keep you fit, improves your coordination whilst building your confidence. Partner dancing, in particular, helps you to interact with other people. It's a partial cure for depression too.

The video clip below shows Pachanga. Note how it is similar to, Cali style salsa. Some basic moves have a subtle timing difference to salsa - notice how they usually pause, tap or kick on beat 3 rather than pause on beat 4.

The video clip below shows Boogaloo as performed in Colombia. Note how it is similar to, but bouncier than Pachanga. The music is similar too. Colombian Boogaloo should not to be confused with Electric Boogaloo which is like Hip Hop.

The video clip below shows a Colombian Cumbia Dance Performance.

This video clip shows an International style Samba competiton. Note that it is a partner dance which bears little resemblance to the authentic Brazilian Samba below although the music is the same.

The video clip below shows Highlights of the 2007 Rio Carnival. This is authentic Brazilian Samba. Note that it is a solo dance.

The video clip below shows Hustle (Ballroom Style). This became very popular in New York in the 1970's to date, but sadly never spread much outside the USA despite the popularity of the music.

The following video clip shows Jive not to be confused with Modern Jive (shown further down).

The video clip below shows Modern Jive (not to be confused with Jive above). Modern Jive is also known as French Jive, Le Roc & Ceroc.
