Salsa Music

We occasionally get requests to recommend Salsa music. Most people have different tastes. We therefore have only copied a few links from music video clips below from You Tube. This is by far not exhaustive. If you would like us to include more links, then please email your links to Barry Gordon. It is worth mentioning that the quality of some "You Tube" music video clips are much lower than the quality of bona fide cds but they are good to get a taste of what to expect. They are sometimes filmed at live events with mobile phone cameras. We recommend that you ask the dj for details of any tracks you particularly like at your salsa club, or to play any requests if he / she has it.

The record label Fania was synonymous with salsa music in the beginning of the salsa era. So any artists reffered to as the Fania stars would be highly recomended listening.
